I bridge the gap between complex technical security, business risks, and evolving regulatory frameworks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, I wrapped up a 13-week internship at the <strong>Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB)<\/strong>, working directly under the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCCA). During my time there, I tackled two major initiatives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CyFun Policy Templates:<\/strong> Revising and translating the CCB\u2019s CyFun 2025 framework requirements into actionable, practical policy templates for organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Project Sol:<\/strong> Developing a Proof-of-Concept AI agent designed to streamline compliance by providing instant, accurate answers regarding the complex <strong>NIS2 directive<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">I hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science from <strong>Howest Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen<\/strong>, where I balanced my studies with community building as the Community Manager for Howest Campus Stack and volunteering at <strong>BruCON<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Whether it&#8217;s dissecting international compliance standards or leveraging new technologies to optimize security workflows, I thrive on making cybersecurity manageable, measurable, and strategically aligned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi, I&#8217;m Kiran de Kruijter.
